Dear Artist,
This residency is managed by network of Eastern Java art house coordinated by Rumah Budaya Pecantingan. It is self funded and noneprofit organizations which has commitment to restore Eastern Java traditional Art Form and foster the development of contemporary art practice within the region.
The Rumah Budaya Pecantingan would like to invite you to take part in residency project to whatever art form that you have been working on. RBP will provide you with accomodation, studio space, networks of art house which you can stay and take part as an artist in resident and even exhibition or performance space, provide lunch and even possible free tuition of some traditional art form like Javanese gamelan and hadow puppetery. We are open for the possibility of collaborative work between your self and our artist.
As we are none profit organizations, it is your responsibility to transport your self to and from our place.
Please send your CV and your basic proposal of project that you might be interested, the duration of time and also when o you want to tak part in the project. This informations will help us to help your residency time fruitfull. Please dont be hesitate to contact us at jumaadi@hotmil.com
